CMC Jai Rani owns only one hospital – Vimal Jyothi Medical Centre at Saravanampatti, Tamilnadu. It has an IP with 10 beds. NABH entry was attained by our Hospital. There are 2 superspeciality departments – Gynaecology and Ortho - in this hospital. Besides these, there are 9 speciality departments –Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, ENT, Orthopedics, General and Radiology - are functioning here. The hospital staff consists of 20 doctors including one doctor sister and 5 nursing sisters and 21 lay staff.
Vimal Jyothi Hospital was first established on 1979 as a small dispensary in order to serve poor and needy people regardless of caste, community or religion. Later on 1981 it was then functioned as day care center with 3 beds with one doctor, one nurse and one pharmacist. After on 1985 it was then started its facilities for Obstetrics and Gynecology with small OT and Labor room and 15 Inpatient beds with One Gynecologist, One Junior doctor, ECG and X-Ray. On September 4 , 1995 it was registered under Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act as Vimal Jyothi Healthcare Society.
Later on 1992 First Floor was established with 30 Inpatient beds and General Surgery and General Medicine Departments were added for the benefits of patient. On 1997-2000 Hospital building was extended for OPDs, In-House Pharmacy, Labor Room, Two Major OTs, MRD, Front Office, etc.,
To extend it Quality of Services, On November 2018, After several assessment Vimal Jyothi Hospital was first accredited with Entry Level NABH Certificate on April 29,2019, and Second Accreditation on April 29,2021 and the quality of services providing to the patients is standard by all the ways. In order to provide quality clinical services to the poor and needy people free medical screening camps were conducted in Ganeshpuram and other localities nearby.
Later in 2020 our Hospital was awarded with Kayakalp Certification by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for its Cleanliness and Maintenance activities towards Infection Control. In order to provide essential medical support to the poor people many other clinical departments started in the hospital like Cardiology, Diabetology, Dermatology, ENT, Urology, and Pathology. More doctors were recruited in order to provide uninterrupted services to the needy person who approaches Vimal Jyothi Hospital.
As a part of Vimal Jyothi Hospital patients welfare free medical camps were conducted inside the hospital for General Surgery and Special concession was given to the patients who uses the medical camp. Free medical camps were conducted in nearby colleges to extend its services to the poor and needy people.
Vimal Jyothi Hospital works in a scope that all the people should get medical support equally irrespective of caste, community, religion or any other social differences. More and more specialties are started for clinical department, various medical equipment were been purchased and are in use for the people, and more and more schemes were in practice like Vimal Jyothi Hospital Medical Screening Camp Card, Medicard etc., for the welfare of the patient.
